in 1850 census of New Durham. Nathaniel P. Horne may be in two households? There is a Nathaniel Corson in the Corson HH and a Nathaniel P. Horne in the Horne HH and both are same age and both are shoemakers. Could it be a duplicate listing? Why is Nathaniel P Horne documented on both his marriage records and death records with parents James Corson and Abigail Horne Corson. Was he born before James married Abigail and took her surname? Is James Corson his biological father? If so why did Nathaniel take his mother's surname? Or was he named for his maternal grandfather and his name entered wrongly on birth certificate and simply left that way?
