In 1858 the family moved to Stoneham, Mass., where in 1861 the father (Thomas E. Paige) died. His widow (Sally Felch Clark) died while on a visit in Hopkinton, August 11, 1882.

Thomas married Sally Felch Clark, daughter of Jacob Clark Jr and Betsey Huse. (Sally Felch Clark was born on 30 Dec 1816 in Hopkinton, Merrimack County, New Hampshire and died on 11 Aug 1882 in Hopkinton, Merrimack County, New Hampshire.)
