Alston A. Straw, for many years a resident of Bedford, died unexpectedly Friday, following
a six weeks illness from a heartattack. Burial was in Landaff, NH where he was. "born 72
years ago. After leaving Bedford about 12 years ago, the Straw family located in North
Weare, N. H.,' where Mr.' Strawconducted a poultry farm. He leaves his wife, Eurdora. Straw;
a son, Oscar, of North Wear N. H.; a daughter, Miss Alice Straw, a nurse in the hospital at
Hanover, N. H.; two grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Fay L Roby of Bedford
