bullet  General Notes:

Could he be John Woodbury Straw and named for his maternal grandfather?

[per Clark Straw via e-mail Sept 2007] "I also meant to mention that somewhere I found that Willis son, John W. Straw's middle name was Wesley and not Woodbury. I'm trying to find my source. When I do, I'll pass it on. Since Willis was a Methodist/Episcopal minister, the middle name Wesley does some sense (although you could say the same thing about Woodbury). I also noticed that Willis brother, Harvey, had a son named Wesley Duane Straw."
