Additional information for you regarding the wife of Samuel Straw, Catherine Harthan. She was born about 1778 in West Boylston, Mass, per Ira's death certificate. She was the youngest daughter of Pvt. Micah Harthan of the Revolution and Sarah Jones. The "Worcester Co. Memoirs Vol. II" mentions that his daughter "Caty" married Samuel Straw of Peterboro, N.H.
