I think that Elbridge moved around a lot as he is in the Plymouth, NH census for 1880 living w/Clara Avery [date of census = 12 June 1880] and then he is in Rumney, NH on 15 June 1880 and listed as living w/Steven Avery's family [along with Jacob Straw, his father.] As for the Colbridge/Elbridge, I think that the writer misheard or misread Elbridge for Colbridge

In the DAR records he is listed as "Colbridge B. Straw"
