research of briantapscott on Family Tree on www.ancestry.com names his father as Benedict Satterlee born 1657 in Ide, Devon, England and died 1688 in New London, CT and his mother as Rebecca Bemis born 1652; gives his DOB as 1687 and DOD as 1743
