It is uncertain if she was his first or second wife. She was ae 62 when she died.
She was probably the Climenia Steele born 11 Sept 1815 to Nathaniel Steele and his wife Sarah Chase. They also had another daughter, Sarah Jane, b. 17 SEP 1818, who married David Avery. In the 1870 census, the 83 year old Sarah Steele [Sarah Chase] is living w/Climenia & Jacob. (per S. Phaneuf)
Climena married Jacob Straw, son of Aaron Straw and Eunice Pitman, about 1837. (Jacob Straw was born about 1814 in New Hampshire and died after 1880.)
