FRANKLIN C. STRAW, farmer; P. 0. Kilbourn City; was born in Orange County, Vt., in
1832; he removed to Adams Co., Wis., September, 1856, and settled in the town of Dell Prairie, where
he resided; engaged in farming till the spring of 1878, when he removed to Kilbourn City; Mr. Straw
still owns a large amount of land in Adams Co.; he is owner of the "Kilbourn Hygienic Institute."
Has built him a fine residence, and made other valuable improvements to the village of Kilbourn City.
He was married to Mary A. Waugh, also born in Orange County, Vt.; they have two children--Celia and Frank
