Daily Journal, November 7, 1963 "Edna Perry Died at Age 87; Services Friday Mrs. Edna Perry, 87 of Ukiah, formerly a school teacher in Albion for 30 years died at a local hospital yesterday. Funeral services have been set at Zimmerman Mortuary for Friday at 2 pm with Bishop Robert Knudsen of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints officiating. Inurnment will follow at Chapel of the Chimes. [Santa Rosa, CA] Mrs. Perry, a native of Cedar Falls, Iowa, had lived most of her life in Mendocino County. She was the widow of Walter Perry, Ukiah. She was a graduate of State Normal School at Cedar Falls in 1906. She is survived by a sister, Irma Peters, Clearwater, Fla. Friends may make donations to the Ukiah Valley Association for Retarded Children or Paul Bunyan school in her memory." The mortuary card has the following: Edna E. Perry, b. 27 Apr 1876, Cedar Falls, Iowa. age about 87 years. School teacher, d. Ukiah hospital, spouse, Walter Perry, taught 30 yrs in CA, mostly in Albion. Burial/ cremation in Santa Rosa.

Edna married George Walter Perry in 1917 in Mendocino county, California. (George Walter Perry was born on 24 Sep 1888, died on 12 Dec 1965 and was buried in Ukiah Cemetery in Mendocino County, California.)
