Elnora "Honey" LaRose Straw passed away peacefully Saturday, September 3, 2016, surrounded by loving family.
She was born in Hinesburg, Vermont on January 25, 1922. Elnora "Honey" was preceded in death by her parents Howard and Irene (Lewis) LaRose, husband of 62 years,Philip A Straw, her son Michael Richard Straw and three brothers.
Honey was a sassy, strong, and loyal wife, mother, and friend to all who knew her. Her grandchildren and great grandchildren loved her and were loved unconditionally by her. She is best known for her creative and beautiful quilts and her love of the beach.
