Born Edouard George Strew to parents Joseph Strew and Marguerite Agathe Béland, George E. Strew married Alma Lamphere (spelling?) on April 9th, 1870 in Thetford, Vermont. The marriage produced three children, Georgia Anna Strew, Minnie Bell Strew and Willie Dell Strew, before Alma's untimely death on March 3rd, 1892 in Lyme, New Hampshire.
