Elizabeth married Sylvester Straw, son of Samuel Straw and Mary Griffin, on 11 Sep 1859 in York, Dane County, Wisconsin. (Sylvester Straw was born in May 1827 in Bolton, Chittenden County, Vermont, died on 20 Dec 1862 in Nashville, Tennessee [Civil War casuality] and was buried in Nashville National Cemetery in So Madison, Tennessee.). The cause of his death was typhoid fever.
