Charles Straw born c1805 NYS The Charles STROW buried in Lockport NY is most probably him. The headstone says he died at age 55 yrs in 1863 which makes his DOB est at 1808..also in 1860 census he is referred to as Charles Straw while the rest of the family is given STROW as surname. It is interesting to note that Virginia Straw Phillips is also buried in the same cemetery. She descends down from the John 2 Straw line.
Daniel Straw born before 1810 [married before 1828 Dorothy LNU] Could he be a possible s/o Israel Straw and Ruth Smith who had four sons whose names are unknown to me.
David Straw born 1789 in Maine or Vermont [married Nov 1816 in Shelburn, VT] to Betsey Leavenworth. By 1820 they were settled in Parkman, Geauga, OH and by 1840 in Trumble County, Ohio. David died before 1870 and Betsey earlier [before 1850] and they are probably bur in OH. They had 13 known children and their names may be found on this site [RIN H: 31137] David is a possible s/o Simeon Straw who lived in Chittenden County, VT in 1810 with two males born 1790-1800; however he could also be the s/o Israel a bro of Simeon who remained in Maine. Israel had 4 males born 1790-1800 that I can't find names for. There were also Leavenworths who married into the STREW lines of Windsor County, VT...could David be a s/o of Moses Straw and Mary?

Jacob Straw born before
1831 married A H Ludlow [Lucy Ann H. Ludlow]
John Straw born before 1815 OH [married unknown] Possibly John Straw born c1807 research notes: (per Sue Phaneuf)In 1840 in Green Camp, Marion County, OH, a John Straw was there with his wife, 3 sons [b. ~1825, 1830, 1835] and 2 dtrs. Elijah Straw was in Green Camp, OH in 1850. In 1860, there is a William Strew, 31, married to an Elvina [ Melvina Lefever], with children Hermen [9], John [6] and Mary [5]. There is also a Robert Strew, 22, married to Sarah Ann Garrison [16] with 3 year old Mary [probable neice; d/o William]. Robert & Sarah married Apr 05, 1860, so I don't think that little Mary is their child. After this, this family disappears from the census. By 1870, William Strew is dead and Elvina is married to Aaron Markley [m. 9 Apr 1867] These men - William, Robert & Elijah fit in the age brackets for the children of John Straw of the 1840 census. Perhaps Cintipha Jane Straw is one of John's dtrs? Also Catherine (Straw) Tunis?
Lydia Straw born c1773 Maine [married 1794 Maine to John Love] The only Straws in Maine in 1790 were Valentine, William and Daniel and they lived in York County. She may have been a d/o any of them.

Mary Straw born 1807 [married 1833 VT to Samuel B. Atherton] Was she a d/o Valentine Jr and Eunice Taylor? [they married Apr 1807 and in the 1810 census there is a female born 1800-1810 unaccounted for]
Michal Straw born 1755 NH [married 1775 NH to Samuel Bartlett] Could she be a d/o Gideon Straw and Mrs. Hannah Cass Swett? Hannah probably married Gideon Straw as a widow (Mrs. Hannah Swett). Research of Rich Turnblom also states this theory and gives Hannah's parents names as John Cass and Hannah Gove. Rich Turnblom also states he believes they had another daughter named MICHAL Straw b 1755 who married Samuel Bartlett. No documentation available.
Moses W. Straw born c1794
NH [married Sabrina Stackpole] Could he be a s/o Daniel Straw and Joanna

NH [married 1836 MA to Zilpah Caswell] In the census of 1850 for Lowell,
Middlesex County, MA he is living as a pauper in the Almshouse in
Lowell, MA. He is age 54.
May have married Zilpah B. Caswell in Lowell, Ma on 13 Nov 1836.
Sue Phaneuf thinks he is either s/o Jacob and Betsey Burbank or Elijah
and Mary Jewell- I feel Elijah could well be his father based on the
fact that Elijah's son Elijah settled in Lowell MA. but Elijah's
marriage to Mary Jewell did not take place until 1801 and Elijah would
have been only 17..not probable father
Richard R. Straw born 1814 NH [married Sarah Chase] 1850 Manchester, Hillsborough County, New Hampshire
