"The funeral of this popular young man took place today from the residence of his mother, 225 Orange Street, and from ST. Joseph's Church. The remains were enclosed in a lavendar silk plush covered silver mounted casket on which was a plate. Rev Francis McCarthy officiated at the church. The bearers were Messrs R. J., J. J., P.H. and David F. Foster with John and Andrew Carroll. Deceased had been connected with Drislane's and Guiton Stores (Albany). interment in St. Agnes Cemetery. Owen J. Malone funeral Home."
