Research of Jane O'Connor Foster Agnes was the first of William's children to attend the parish school of St. Joseph's Academy and after she graduated she continued her education at the New York State Teacher's College graduating in the late1880s. Agnes retired from teaching at age 75 years. She never married. She died of pulmonary edema. Surviving siblings were: Richard, Joseph and David. She was the last of William and Agnes' daughters to die.

1880, William b 1825 Ireland with Agnes in Albany, Albany, NY. He is a carpenter and they live at 225 Orange Street. Children: Anna [dressmaker], Mary, Patrick [18; clerk in store], Agnes [15], Richard [13], Joseph [8] and Dana [son age 4].
1900, Agnes [b. 3/1835] is the HOH living with Patrick [3/1868], Mary [11/1866], Agnes [5/1870] and Dana [3/1877]. Grand dtr Agnes Farley born 5/1886 is with them. They are still at the 225 Orange St address.
1910 in 12-Wd Albany, Albany, NY; still at 225 Orange St; Agnes says she had 11 children, 6 of whom are still alive. Patrick [salesman, Richard [printer], Mary M., Agnes [teacher] and Anna Farley [granddtr; cashier] are living with her.
1920: Patrick H, Richard J and Agnes L are living at 225 Orange St. 1930: Patrick & Agnes are living at 225 Orange St..
