MORTIMER BRUSH, B. S.
Harold M. Brush, son of Solomon . Mortimer and Emma (Straw) Brush, was born in Stowe, Vermont, April 3, 1886. He prepared for college in the schools of his town and entered the University, September 12, 1905, graduating B. S. in C. E., in 1909; was a musician, chief musician and sergeant, 2d lieutenant and 'director of the band; manager of the Glee Club two years, and the orchestra three years; member of the A 2 [J Fraternity.
He was inspector of paving in Montreal for the Hassam Paving Co., of Worcester, Mass., July and August, 1909; instrument man for the Northern Pacific R. R., September 1, 1909-Deeember 3, 1910, on preliminary surveys from Mandan to Mott, N. D., and construction work Harold Mortimer Brush. Pingree to Wilton, N. D. Since January,
1911, he has engaged in engineering work in Pittsfield, Mass. He is a member of Mystic Lodge, No. 56, F. and A, M, of Stewe, Vermont.
