I looked up Elizabeth Sarah Lebo and found that Peter "Lebbo" Lebo was her grandfather. Her father was Adam Lebo. It seems Peter married a Margaret Reedy. His son Adam married Amanda Kintzer.[research of susan Stone-Balazs on ancestry.com message board on July 2001)

I believe the LEBO's were from the Alsace-Lorraine region which is currently in France. This region borders on Germany and Switzerland and changed ownership between France and Germany numerous times due to wars. The people living there in the early 1700's would have spoke French and German. It would have very easy for them to move to Germany when they had to leave France due to religious persecution.
