"Foreclosure of mortgage - Be it known that on this 23 day of July 1844, we, William Straw and Daniel Straw both of Hopkinton, in the county of Merrimack, co-executors of the last will and testiment of James Straw, late of said Hopkinton deceased, peaceably entered upon and took posession of a tract of land, situate in Bow, in said county, containing 25 acres and bounded thus: beginning at a stake and stones at the north east corner of Jacob Wheeler's land - thence NE 25 rods to said Wheeler's land - thence on said Wheeler's land 160 rods the whole breath fo the range; thence to SW of said Wheeler's land to the bound begun at; it being the same premises conveyed to James Straw in his life time in mortagage by Wm Clough of said Bow by his deed dated January 7, 1841 recorded in the Merrimack records vol 64 pg276 for condition broken and for the purpose of foreclosing the right in equity of said Wm Clough to redeem the same; and at the same time publicly declared the purpose and object of said entry and posession.
