Former Vancouver resident Frances Gay Straw, 68, died at home Monday, March 1, 1999, of cancer.
Mrs. Straw was born Sept. 27, 1930, in Vancouver. She graduated from Ogden Meadows High School in Vancouver in 1948.
She worked at Hewlett-Packard in Corvallis, Ore., for 15 years before moving to Missouri less than a year ago.
Her husband, Arlie R., died in 1987, and a daughter, Frances M. Straw, died in 1959.
Survivors include one daughter, Colleen Hurley of Blue Springs; and one grandchild.
There will be a private family service.
