George married Marilla J. Allen, daughter of Elder Levi Allen and Mary Clough, on 4 Oct 1868 in Alton, Belknap County, New Hampshire. (Marilla J. Allen was born on 30 Sep 1834 in Gilmanton, Belknap County, New Hampshire, died in 1921 and was buried in Proctor Cemetery in Barnstead, New Hampshire.)
