Some indication that her maiden name may be Burbank, born in Mass., but 1850 census has her born N.H. Birth date for Betsy Burbank is 1784, birth date in 1850 census is 1790.

Betsey married Samuel Straw, son of Israel Straw and Abiah Nelson, before 1808. (Samuel Straw was born on 13 May 1787 in Weare, Hillsborough County, New Hampshire, died on 20 Aug 1857 in North Weare, New Hampshire and was buried in Eaton Cemetery Weare, Hillsborough County, New Hampshire, USA.)
