bullet  General Notes:

Research of Reginald Enman on www.rootsweb.com - After married, they settled near his father at Bethel, later removing to Rumford Point, about 1816, and built what became known as the "Old Country Store". Although he owned the business, his son, Charles A. and later his grandson, Charles W. were the actual storekeepers. The ferry at the Point was known as Kimball's Ferry as early as 1819. It is said that when he first came to Rumford, there were two Moses Kimball's living here, Moses Sr. & Jr., so he added the "F" as a middle initial so as to distinguish between them. He served in the State Legislature and many public offices in the town of Rumford.
