Mrs. Emma Brown died yesterday at Fitzdale, VT at the age of 67 y. [c1921]she is survived by four daughters.
Mrs. Curtis Goodall, East Concord, VT; Mrs. Charles J. Doeis, Concord; Mrs. Frank Ahern, Concord and Mrs. Edwin Straw of Goffstown with whom she lived; two sons Dana Brown of Fitzdale, VT and Leon Brown of Rutland, VT. also nine grandchildren. She was a member of Uncanoonuc grange, Union Pomona grange and the Methodist church
message board post - There is (or rather, WAS) a Fitzdale, Vermont. It is now called Gilman, which is a village within the political boundaries of the Town of Lunenburg, VT. Gilman does not have its own town government, so you would need to make genealogical inquiries to the Town Clerk of Lunenburg.

"Mr and Mrs Edward Straw of East Ware, NH and Mrs. Emma Brown of Concord, NH are guests of Dana Brown and Mrs Ella Goodall." [My note: Mrs (Mabel) Straw and Ella Goodall are sisters; Dana is their half brother and all are children of Emma (Hill) Brown]

In the 1920 census for Belleair, Pinealls, Co., FL, Edwin is married to Mabel, with son Neil, and his mother-in-law, Emma A Brown, age 65. Emma is probably the Emogene Alvira Hill who was Mabel S. Clark-Brown's mother. Emogene/Emma married first to Frank Clark, then to Dr. Samuel Prescott Brown.

Emogene married Frank E. Clark, son of Joshua T. Clark and Unknown, on 27 Aug 1871 in Bath, Grafton County, New Hampshire. (Frank E. Clark was born on 15 Nov 1853 in Lyman, Grafton County, New Hampshire and died in 1875-1880.)
