Dolores Straw, 84, Gleason, died Thursday, April 22, 2004, at her home under the care of Ministry Home Care Hospice Services of Rhinelander.
She was born Dec. 3, 1919, in Milwaukee, daughter of the late Arnold and Esther (Monson) Kuehn. She married Harold Straw Dec. 1, 1941, in the city of Wood. He preceded her in death Oct. 25, 2001.
She had worked for Allis Chalmers and Anderson Labs in Milwaukee. She was a member of Ascension Lutheran Church in Antigo.
Survivors include one daughter, Lynnel (Lowell) Morin, Waukesha; one son, Erro (Kathleen) Straw, Antigo; eight grandchildren, Sean Straw, Shellie (Kevin) Powell, Carrie (Carl) Opter, Kelly (Brandon) Tatro, Chad Henry, Adriana (special friend, Paul Malitz) Straw, Yancy (Jennifer) Morin and Anna Marie (Tim) Erdman; one sister-in-law, Geri Kuehn, West Allis; brother-in-law, Howard Straw, Kiel; and great-uncle, Marty Jordan, Greenfield. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and two brothers.
Services will be at noon Monday at Strasser-Roller Funeral Home, Antigo. Visitation will be Monday from 10 a.m. until time of services at the funeral home.
A memorial has been established.
