Paul is with his uncle and aunt, James Frank and Amelia SMITH in 1870, 1880 and 1900. In 1919 and 1920, Paul and Pearl are living in Jasper, Lane Co. and have children at home Robert , age 11, and Mary, age 5 (c1920). They had lost one child before 1910. A Robert Hadley died 26 Dec 1966 Deschutes Co., OR (di).

Elizabeth (jg) Martha (u) CARTER, born 16 March (jg) or May (alr) 1805 KY (jg) or Morgan Co., IL (alr), died 1846 Iowa (lch). Said to have later married Elizabeth CARTER and had a child 1853 (u) (neither in 1860 census) but this seems to be a misreading of records (cms)

Paul married Pearl in 1907. (Pearl was born in Nov 1873 in Oregon and died on 18 Sep 1977 in Lane County, Oregon.)
