Kyle Ayers on Rootsweb - "Jonathan Taylor fought in the American Revolution and appears on the pay roll of Lt. Col. David Webster's Co. of militia, which marched from Plymouth, NH and towns adjacent to reinforce the garrison at Ticonderoga on the alarm of July 1777; time of service 12 days. Again on the pay roll of Capt. Chase Taylor's Co., Col. Thomas Stickney's Regt., Gen. Stark's brigade, which company marched from Sanbornton and joined the Northern Continental Army 1777; service 5 days. D.A.R. #376281 Brenda B. Bailey.
