JOHN BARTLETT born 30 Dec 1733 in Newbury, Essex County, Massachusetts and died 3 Sep 1798 in Deerfield, Rockingham County, New Hampshire
settled on the farm now owned by George Bartlett. He married Hepzibath Stevens (b. Abt 1742 in Newbury, Essex, Massachusetts )
in Chester, and removed to Deering in 1773.

Solomon married Anna Stevens.
John Jr. married Mary Simons; settled in Weare NH
Daniel married first, Abigail Stevens; second Elinor Stevens; third, Hope White. Lydia married John Simons.
Hepzibath died young.

George married Polly Simons; settled on the old homestead.
Irena married Stephen Rowell.
Greeley married Sarah Ann Gove.

In Deering on the 16 inst after three years of distressing sickness, which she bore with Christian fortitude and patience, Mrs Hepzibeth, wife of Jonathan Straw age 49y 9m 4d [printers in VT]

Hepzibath married Jonathan Straw, son of Jonathan Straw and Sarah Atwood, on 3 Oct 1807 in Deering, Hillsborough County, New Hampshire. (Jonathan Straw was born circa 1782 in Deering, Hillsborough County, New Hampshire, died on 24 Apr 1843 in Deering, Hillsborough County, New Hampshire and was buried in Old Sleeper Cemetery in Francestown, New Hampshire.)
