Michael may have died before 1920, since Alma and her daughter are listed in that census as living with her mother; Alma listed as a widow. However, there is a Social Security Death Index listing for a Frank Dermody, born June 8, 1886, died Aug., 1977, and living in Wichita, Sedgwick Co., KS, so there is a possibility that they were separated or divorced.

Alma married Francis Michael Dermody, son of Michael Dermody and Ellen Quinn, on 7 Oct 1909 in Sedgwick Co. KS. (Francis Michael Dermody was born on 8 Jun 1886 in MO and died on 8 Aug 1977 in Wichita, Sedgwick County, Kansas.)
