"George W. (the son of Nathan) was married twice. He had five children (Charles W.; Oliver Edward; William Adelbert; Alfred Burton; infant) with the first wife, Louisa J. Shouse (m. 20 Mar 1870 in Greenwood Co KS). Louisa died in Greenwood Co KS on 5 Feb 1889.
George W. (the son of Nathan) then married Cora Shockey (m. 8 Oct 1890 in Greenwood Co KS) and they had two children (Esther M; infant). Cora died in Greenwood Co KS on 9 Jan 1909.
George W. (the son of Nathan) died in Greenwood Co KS on 17 Oct 1923. He lived in Greenwood county from 1867 to 1923."
