Married Parks Ira Kennedy on June 11, 1880 at Fairbury, Nebraska "in our own home"
Moved to Fairbury Nebraska Oct 17, 1872 through Nov 6, 1872 with mother Hannah. "That winter, mother and I returned with Uncle Lewis, Eben, Lettie LaClair and Wilson Ball to York and Fillmore Co., where we visited Cousin Jasper and his wife Helen and cousin Bula LaClaire Ball and family. Cousin Porter Culver lived in Hamilton Co. where Jasper and Helen took us to see them." (Jan's note: Bula was d/o Lewis. Her 1st husband John LaClaire died during civil war -- it's noted in Jasper's memoirs.) Ellen began teaching school in Jefferson County Nebraska when 16 years ol
