Collins Dewane Griffith died September 11, 1916 in Rose City and is buried in the cemetery there. Death record says he was born December 9, 1838 in Michigan, was widowed--father Riley or Ruby born New York, mother unknown name, also born New York. Hattie E. died February 9, 1899 in Cummings Township, age 53--parents were Pelie Pettey & Eleanor Perryne. She is also buried in Rose City Cemetery. I just noticed that next death record after Hattie's is for Alfred Dewaine Griffith, age 1 month who died of whooping cough--parents Sidney A. & Maggie E. Brown. I'm sure there is probably more in county records if I dig--can send copy of what records I have here at home if you email me direct.
