Orville "Junior" Pollock, 76, 20262 C.R. 19, Goshen, died at 12:58 a.m. Saturday at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne.
He was born Dec. 9, 1930, in Kosciusko County, to Orville Pollock Sr. and Ina Rebecca (Vance) Pollock.
He married Helen (Krynewycz) Pollock on Jan. 22, 1971. She survives him.
He retired from Goshen Rubber in 1996 as a Spot Inspector.
He was a member of St. Mark's United Methodist Church, Goshen.
He was the best husband, father and grandfather in the whole world and is loved and missed.
Survivors in addition to his wife include a daughter, Deb (Brad) Fiandt, Goshen; two sons, Adam Pollock, Mishawaka, and Gary (Stacy) Pollock, Pampal, Fla.; one sister, Esther Bailey, Goshen; two brothers, Robert Wayne Pollock, and Donald LaMar (Sandy) Pollock, both of Goshen; and four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, Timothy Pollock, in 1977; two sisters, Helen Straw, and Betty Swihart; one infant sister, Mary Ellen Pollock; and one brother, Albert Pollock.
Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the Rieth-Rohrer-Ehret Funeral Home, Goshen, and from 9 to 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Mark's United Methodist Church, Goshen.
A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the church with the Rev. Tim Terrell of St. Mark's United Methodist Church officiating.
Burial will be in Jackson Cemetery.
