WINAMAC — J o h n W.Reinholt, 87, 528 N. Hathaway, died at 12:45 p.m. Thursday at
Pulaski Memorial Hospital.He had been in failing health for nine months.
Born April 17, 1887, in Tippecanoe Township, he was the son of John and Mary Overmye Reinholt. He was married March 23, 1913, in Winamac to the former Jennie Moore, who survives.
A resident his entire life in Pulaski County, he was a retired farmer and a member of the United Methodist Church.
Also surviving are one sister, Mrs. Ida Haschel, Winamac; seven children, Mrs. Flaura Clark, Winamac, Mrs. Agnes Straw, Winamac, Mrs. Alice Peterson, Winamac, Mrs. Sarah Peterson, Monterey, L. Jay Reinholt, Seminole, Fla., Gerald Reinholt, Monterey, and the Rev. John Reinholt, Jr., Custer, Mich.; 23 grandchildren; and 22 greatgrandchildren.
Three children preceded him in death.
Burial will be in the Riverbank Cemetery.
John married Jennie Moore, daughter of Unknown and Unknown, on 23 Mar 1913 in Winamac, Pulaski County, Indiana. (Jennie Moore was born circa 1894 in Indiana and died after 1974.)
