Leonard Jay Reinholt
WINAMAC -- Services for Leonard Jay Reinholt, 89, of 414 Avenue B, Plattsmouth, Neb., formerly of Pulaski County, will be held at 11 a.m. Monday in St. Anne's Catholic Church, Monterey.
He died at 11:50 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 5, 2003, in Nebraska Medical Center, Omaha, Neb.
Born Feb. 9, 1914, in Winamac, he was the son of John and Jennie Moore Reinholt. He was married Feb. 26, 1938, in Monterey to Evelyn Josephine Brucker, who died Aug. 11, 1980. In 1987, he was married to Venis Engel, who died July 14, 1999.
A retired farmer, Mr. Reinholt lived most of his life in Pulaski County. He was a member of St. Anne Catholic Church, Monterey.
He was active with the Pulaski County Democratic Central Committee and had been a precinct committeeman for several years in Tippecanoe Township. He was a former board member of the Fulton County REMC.
Mr. Reinholt enjoyed fishing.
Surviving are three sons, John A. Reinholt and his wife, Sylvia, Bristol, R.I., James R. Reinholt and his wife, Carol, Winamac, and Jerome Jay Reinholt and his wife, Mary, Plattsmouth; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two sisters, Alice Peterson and Sarah Peterson, both of Monterey; and one brother, the Rev. John Reinholt, New Port Richie, Fla.
Four sisters, Gertrude Reinholt, Flaura Clark, Agnes Straw and Viola Reinholt; two brothers, Gerald Reinholt and Ora Reinholt; and one grandson, Casey James Reinholt, preceded in death.
The Rev. Bert Woolson will officiate at the services. Burial will be in St. Anne's Cemetery, Monterey.

Leonard married Evelyn Josephine Brucker on 26 Feb 1938 in Monteray. (Evelyn Josephine Brucker was born before 1920 and died on 11 Aug 1980.)

Leonard next married Venis Engel in 1987. (Venis Engel died on 14 Jul 1999.)
