WINAMAC \emdash Services for Sarah Kathryn Peterson, 80, Monterey, will be held at 11 a.m. Monday in Frain Mortuary.
She died at 10:38 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 29, 2007, in St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Lafayette.
Born April 19, 1927, in Winamac, she was the daughter of John W. and Jennie Moore Reinholt.
She was married on March 31, 1949, in Winamac, to Amos J. Peterson, who survives.
She was a member of the Lawton Christian Church, and was the former president of the Lawton Ladies Aide. She was the church pianist for many years. She also taught Sunday school.
She was a former Girl Scout leader.
She was a former employee of Culver Military Academy Beason Park. She also worked at the field trials at the Winamac Fish and Wildlife Area.
She enjoyed camping, cooking, fishing, gardening, sewing, and spending time with her family.

Peterson, Monterey; daughters, Jane and Jarrel Hartle, Monterey; Judy and Loren Hartz, Plymouth; Jenny and Michael McGraw, Zionsville; Ginger and Jim Boys, Valparaiso; son, Mark Peterson, Logansport; grandsons, Steven Hartle, San Pierre; Michael Hartle, Shirley; Jacob Hartle, Chicago, Ill.; Andrew and Kimberly Hartz, Noblesville; Jason and Jessica Hartz, Mount Pleasant, Ohio; Joshua McGraw, Zionsville; Jordan McGraw, Zionsville; Matthew Peterson, Monterey; Brandon Boys, Ashland, Wisc.; Phillip Hartz, Naperville, Ill.; granddaughters, Janell Hartle, Fort Wayne, Sarah McGraw, Zionsville; Erica Boys, Indianapolis; great-grandsons, Noah Boggs, Fort Wayne; Ayddan Hartle, Bedford; great-granddaughter, Kat White, Bedford; brother, Rev. Her father, John W. Reinholt, mother, Jennie Moore Reinholt, grandson, George Peterson, brothers, L. Jay Reinholt and Gerald Reinholt, and sisters, Flaura Clark and Agnes Straw, preceded in death.
The Rev. Jarrel Hartle will officiate at the services. Burial will be in the McKinley Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Winamac.
