Adirondack Journal Aug 1993 pg 20 Thelma E. Campanaro Thelma E. Campanaro, 83, formerly of Chestertown, died Tuesday, July 20, 1993 at Hallmark Nursing Centre, Queensbury. Born in Hague on July 2, 1910, she was the daughter of the late Lester C. and Constance E. Smith. She was predeceased by her husband, Angelo Campanaro, who died in September of 1984. Mrs. Campanaro had been the owner/operator of Thelma's Beauty Shop for several years in Chestertown. She and her husband, Andy had also been the proprietors of the Carol Theater in Chestertown Survivors include one son, Andy R. Campanaro of Deltona, Florida; one daughter, Mrs. Maurice (Patricia N.) Frazier of Queensbury; two sisters, Mrs. William (Veronicaj Sherman of ChestertoWn and Mrs. Donald (Edrie) Egan of Warrensburg, five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Services were conducted on Saturday, July 24 at the Horicon Baptist Church, Brant Lake with the Rev. Charles Phillips officiating and Pastor Douglas Roberts assisting. Internment was at the Brant Lake Cemetery Arrangements were under the direction of the Barton-McDermott Funeral Home, Pine Street, Chestertown. The family suggested that expressions of sympathy be made in the form of donations to the Horicon Baptist Church

Thelma married Angelo Campanero. (Angelo Campanero was born in 1910 in New York and died in 1984.)
