Ronald D. Chapman 65, of Beverly, a retired machinist, husband of Pearl (DiDonato) Chapman, died November 28, 2004, at his home.
Born and raised in Beverly, son of the late Frank and Charlotte (Colby) Chapman, he received his education in the Beverly school system and was a graduate of the Beverly Trade School.
Mr. Chapman had been employed for over 40 years as a machinist for the former United Shoe Machinery Corp. in Beverly until the time of his retirement.
A lifelong resident of the city of Beverly, he was a member of the Quarter Century Club at the United Shoe Machinery Corp.
In addition to his wife, with whom he had shared over 46 years of marriage, Mr. Chapman is survived by: two sons, David Chapman of Beverly and Kevin Chapman of Warwick, R.I.; one grandson, Cameron Chapman of Marshfield; and one brother, Frank W. Chapman of Salem.
He was also the brother of the late Joanne Straw.
