Baker, John, of Ex, yeoman. Will dated 2 Sep 1757, proved 29 Sep 1757,
pgs 18-19. Mentions: Wife Susannah Baker. Sons Elisha Baker &
Samuel Baker. Daughters Elizabeth Willcox, Susannah Sunderlin
(wife of Joseph Sunderlin--see receipt Ex 2:24), Deborah Baker, Mary Baker
(wife of Giles Brownell by 13 Nov 1759--see receipt Ex 2:86-87), & Sarah Baker.
Witn: James Babcock, Joseph Babcock, Samuel Albro.

In the list of Rhode Island Freeman, John is listed in 1747 at Exeter, RI. And in reviewing the probate records for Exeter (Book 2 P18)we find a will dated Sept. 2, 1757 for John Baker of Exeter. It mentions his wife Susannah, daughters Deborah, Mary, Sarah, Elizabeth Willcox and Susannah Sunderlin, sons Elisha and Samuel. With son Samuel and wife Susannah named as executors.
