The funeral for Doris L. Lynch Thompson Straw, 76, of Oklahoma City, will be 1 p.m. Monday, June 2, 2008, at Anderson-Burris Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Richard Dunn will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
She was born April 18, 1932, in Oklahoma City to Harold Wilson and Jessie Pearl Turner Lynch and died Thursday, May 29, 2008, in Oklahoma City.
She graduated from Enid High School in 1951.
She married Kenneth Straw May 4, 1978, in Enid. She worked at Integris Bass Baptist Health Center as a communications clerk for more than 10 years and also worked for Home Health Care Agencies. In 1994 they moved to Oklahoma City. She was a member of Eastern Star.
Surviving are her husband, Ken, of the home; one daughter, Sherry Litson, and one son, Harold T. Thompson, both of Oklahoma City; 16 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two brothers.

Harold B. Taney, 69, of Lowell Road, Hudson, died Friday, April 14, 2000, at St. Joseph Hospital in Nashua, following a lengthy illness.
Mr. Taney was born Nov. 9, 1930, in Oklahoma City, Okla., son of John and Ora Bell (Patterson) Taney. He was raised in Oklahoma City and lived for many years in Pepperell, Mass. For the past 10 years he lived in Hudson.
He worked for Grace Chemical Co. of Nashua as an electrician for 25 years, and retired in 1997. He also worked as a self-employed electrician.
Mr. Taney was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars in Nashua and American Legion Post 48 of Hudson. He was a former member of the Knights of Columbus, Council 317, of East Pepperell, Mass.
He was an avid fisherman.
Mr. Taney was an Army veteran of the Korean War, serving from 1948 to 1951.
He graduated from Cardinal High School in Oklahoma City in 1948.
Mr. Taney was predeceased by a daughter, Denise Stone, who died in 1997.
Survivors include two sons, Stephen Taney of North Andover, Mass., and Mark Taney of Pepperell; four daughters, Yvette Clark of Vermont, Judy Roberts of Pepperell, Gail Gray of Fitchburg, Mass., and Leslie Taney of Dracut, Mass.; a brother, John Taney of Grandview, Mo.; a sister, Doris Straw of Oklahoma City; 10 grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services are private and will be held at a later date.
The Fournier Funeral Home in Greenville is in charge of arrangements.
