WILLIAM HILL
Miles City - William A Hill ,93, Miles City, retired rancher died Thursday at a Miles City Hospital following a short illness. He was born Christmas Day 1875 in Iowa, a son of Mr and Mrs John Hill. He came to Miles City from Texas in 1902. He first ranched in the Kinsey area and later on the south side of the Yellowstone River.He married Bessie Oliver Guenther in Texas in 1901. She died in 1961. A son Charles died in Idaho in 1968. He is survived by two sons Earl, Helena and Edson Lafayette, CA; two daughters, Mrs Eric Wilson, Grandview, Washington; Mrs Carlton Mariner, Palmdale, California; ten grandchildren and 22 great granchildren....burial in Custer County Cemetery
William married Bessie Gunther.
