PHILADELPHIA INQUIRER 11 June 1893 The Green Divorce Attorney Work says that it was the husband who secured it. Milton C. Work Esq who is the attorney for Andrew Low Green said last night that the statement that Mrs Green obtained a divorce from her husband was not true; that he was counsel for Mr. Green who obtained the divorce on the ground of desertion, from his wife, who was married last week in New York to Arthur Francis Schemerhorn. the divorce was granted last May in Court of Common Pleas #3. BALTIMORE AMERICAN - 3 July 1910 Capon Springs, WV Among the earliest arrivals here were Mrs. Andrew Low Green of Philadelphia and Florida with her handsome daughter Miss Jamie Green, her son Sheldon Green of Haverford College and her sister Miss Berta Griffin. Mrs. Green's husband was a stepson of the late Mrs Charles Green of Baltimore. Mrs Green [Mrs A. L. Green] is a descendant of Chief Justice Griffin who presided at trial of Aaron Burr.
Andrew married Frances Serrill Levick, daughter of Richard Levick and Martha Ash Serrill. (Frances Serrill Levick was born in 1854 in Pennsylvania, died on 4 Aug 1915 in Christiania, Norway and was buried in Cremated.). The cause of her death was heart disease.
Andrew next married Josephine Griffin, daughter of William Davis Griffin and Mary Alberta Sullivan, on 13 Apr 1898 in Madison County, Florida. (Josephine Griffin was born circa 1869 in Greenville, Madison County, Florida.)
