Casimir K. Kosakowski, 68, of Osborn Road died Thursday in St. Peter's Hospital in Albany.
Mr. Kosakowski was a lifelong resident of Albany.
He had worked for the past 14 years as a cashier-seller at the OTB Tele-Theatre in Albany. Before his retirement, he had worked 28 years as a machine operator with the former A&P Tea Co. on Fuller Road in Albany.
Mr. Kosakowski was a former volunteer at Our Lady of Hope in Latham and the West Albany Little League, Colonie Little League and Colonie Babe Ruth. He was a member and former Bingo volunteer at Our Lady of Angels Church in Albany.
He was a World War II Army veteran.

COLONIE Casimir K. Kosakowski, 68, of Osborn Road died Thursday in St. Peter's Hospital in Albany.
Mr. Kosakowski was a lifelong resident of Albany.

Survivors include his wife, Theresa A. Heidcamp Kosakowski; five sons, David C. Kosakowski of Bakersfield, Calif., Paul J. Kosakowski of Ballston Spa, Peter F. Kosakowski of Schenectady, Matthew P. Kosakowski of Albany and James T. Kosakowski of Bridgeport, Conn.; two brothers, Joseph Kosakowski of Colonie and Edward Kosakowski of Bridgeport; four sisters, Jean Lawrence and Stacia Malinowski of Albany, Elizabeth Kirby of Delmar and Frances Fagan of Speigletown; and four grandchildren.
Services will be held at 8:30 a.m. Saturday in the McVeigh Funeral Home, 208 N. Allen St., Albany, and 9 a.m. in the Church of Our Lady of Angels.
Burial will be in Our Lady of Angels Cemetery.
Calling hours will be 4-8 p.m. today in the funeral home.
