alice Kennish the youngest d/o Wm and Catherine Kennish born at the Corony, Kirk Maughold, Isle of Man 5 Oct 1865 and died 14 Feb 1838 at home of her brother James Kennish...alice came to Holt county with parents and 11 sibs when she was 5 yrs old...settled in Liberty neighborhood a prairie country...after death of parent she went to Nebraska to live with her sister Mrs Allen..bought a home in Mound City in 1906...in 1913 went to Arkansas to care for sick sister in law and stayed on to care for her brother Edward and her neice Katie.....in 1919 she went to Californai to care for her sister Ann (Kennish) Cairns..in 1921 she returned to Arkansas to care for her neice [d/o Edward]....in 1929 she returned to Mound city to care for her sister Mrs Bessett [Catherine]...following Catherine's death she made her home with her sister Mrs. Ellen Tyson...for last sevearl months she ahs been with her brother James...survived by sisters Mrs, Maggie Allen of Fresno, CA, Mrs Christian Kelly of Greeley, CO and Mrs Ellen tyson of Mound City, brothers Edward Kennish of Paragould, Arkansas, James and Thomas of Mound City and 21 neices and nephews....interment New Liberty
