Starr Rena Nelke, 69, of Annabessacook Road, died March 24, 2009. She was born July 24, 1939, in Livermore Falls, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Neil U. Nelke.
She was predeceased by a son, Ralph Michael Bourque, in August of 2000; her father, Neil Nelke in 1994 and husband, Richard Bourque, in 1986.
She is survived by longtime friend and housemate, Pegganne Kilton of Winthrop; mother, Margaret (Peggy) Nelke of Livermore Falls; three sisters, Neila A. Nelke of Lewiston, Brenda Yeaton and her husband, Jack, of Franklin, Mich., and Darrah Osgood and her husband, Kim Osgood, of Clifton Park, N.Y.; one brother, Frank Nelke and his wife, Celena, of North Jay; and special friends for half a century, Joyce and Carleton Cote of Englewood, Fla.
Winter entombment will be at the funeral home. Spring interment will be at Water's Hill Cemetery, North Livermore. (Morning Sentinet 3/26/2009)
Starr married Richard Bourque on 1 May 1959 in Maine. (Richard Bourque was born on 18 Apr 1934, died on 29 Dec 1986 in Chelsea, Kennebec County, Maine and was buried in St. Augustine Holy Family Cemetery in Augusta, Maine.)
