Friends are invited to call at the Olthof Funeral Home, Sunday evening 7 to 9 p.m., and Monday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. with funeral services there Tuesday at 11 a.m., the Rev. Stephen Parr and Rev. J. Russell Carpenter. Committal services in Woodlawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Pennsylvania Ave. Methodist Church Memorial Fund. Survived by wife Zylpha; sons, Frank C. of Ardmore, Pa., Robert H. of Penn Yan, Fred W. of Warsaw; sisters, Mrs. David (Augusta) Parfitt of Elmira; four grandchildren; several cousins; nieces and nephews. He was a member of the Pennsylvania Ave. Methodist Church; Union Lodge No. 95 F&AM; American Legion Post No. 443; Company L. Veteran of World War I; Member of the Monarchs Club; Fellowcraft Team of Union Lodge.

Frederick married Zylpha H. Straw, daughter of Frank U. Straw and Rosa A. Northrup. (Zylpha H. Straw was born on 2 Nov 1895 in Pennsylvania, died on 22 Mar 1990 in Arnot Ogden Memorial Hospital and was buried in Woodlawn Cemetery in Elmira, Chemung County, New York.)
