Delores Satterfield Straw
Mrs. Delores Satterfield Straw, 78, of Dalton, died Tuesday, June 9, 2009, at her residence.
She was the daughter of the late Gene and Flossie Satterfield and was preceded in death by her sister, Jean Harris.
Delores is survived by her loving husband of 42 years, Jim Straw of Dalton; daughters and son-in-law, Rebecca Straw of Cohutta, Micaela and Jim Lester of Las Vegas, Nev.; sons and daughters-in-law, Joseph and Judith Straw of Culver City, Calif., Phillip and Cynthia Straw of Dalton, Andrei and Tracy Straw of Rockford, Mich.; sisters, Louise Jones and Brenda Adams both of Dalton; four grandsons; four granddaughters; nieces and nephews.
Services will be Friday at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Love Funeral Home with the Rev. Vince Goble officiating.
The family will receive friends at the Love Funeral Home Thursday from 2 to 8 p.m.
At the request of Delores, cremation will follow after services.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to one's favorite chairty.

Delores married James F. Straw, son of Walter Leroy Straw and Katerine Kay Beley, circa 1967. (James F. Straw was born circa 1945 in Oklahoma, died on 3 Dec 2012 in Dalton, Whitfield County, Georgia and was buried in Cremated.)
