Albany - Services will be held today for Mrs Bertha Schlomberg Krueger, 89, of South Lake Avenue, who died Sunday at St. Peter's Hospital after a short illness.

Born in Gelsenkirchen, Germany, Mrs Krueger came to Albany in 1930. For more than 50 years she was a house keeper for private residences in the Capital District. Mrs Krueger was the past president of the Ladies Auxillary of the German American Club in Albany. She was a communicant of St. Vincent dePaul Roman Catholic Church in Albany and was a volunteer for both the Thrift Shop in Albany Medical Center and the Red Cross. She was the wife of the late William Krueger. Survivors include a son Edward T. Genhofer of Albany, a brother William Schlomberg of Albany, a grandson and a great grand daughter....Zwack and Sons Funeral Home. Burail in Memory's Garden in Colonie...contributions for Northeastern Association for the Blind.
