GLEE MERRILL BURT
Glee Merrill Burt, 88, Blue Springs, MO (formerly of Parkville and Braymer, MO), passed away Friday, December 22, 2000, at Blue Springs Care Center, Blue Springs, MO. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, December 26, at Vansant-Mills Chapel, Clinton, MO; burial in Englewood Cemetery, Clinton. Family will receive friends one hour before the service on Tuesday at the chapel. Family suggests contributions to the Gospel Missionary Union, 10000 North Oak, Kansas City, MO 64155.
Glee was a homemaker and had lived many years in the Parkville and Braymer areas. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Nora Blanchard Hosack; one brother, Ralph Hosack; and two half brothers, Cartha Gene Hosack and Sidney Hosack. Glee is survived by her husband of 66 years, Orbin Burt of the home; one son, Don Burt and wife, Karen of Blue Springs, MO; one daughter, Christine Burt of Ridgely, MO; as well as two grandchildren; and five greatgrandchildren.
