BLOOMFIELD - James W. Fleetwood, 62, of Bloomfield, passed away Wednesday, October 8, 2014, at IU Health Methodist Hospital as a result of a car accident on Sunday.
James was born July 18, 1952, in Bloomington, to the late Jack and Barbara Joan (Thacker) Fleetwood. He was a graduate of Bloomington High School.
Survivors include his 2 sons, Cheyenne J. Fleetwood (Patsy) of Bloomfield and Joseph W. Fleetwood (Amanda) of Worthington; 2 sisters, Nedra Martin (Phillip) of Bloomington and Jackie Buhr (Daniel) of Washington; and 3 grandchildren, Clara Fleetwood, Joseph Kole and Madison Gayle; an aunt, an uncle, several nieces and nephew, and cousins
He was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents, Mary and Jim Fleetwood, Edith and Paul Straw and Lorenzo Thacker; sister, Toni Annette Fleetwood; and brother, Steven Paul Fleetwood.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
The Funeral Chapel of Powell and Deckard is handling arrangements.
